Your ship can be anything you want it to be, with each plank and sail exactly where you want it. Sail the seas in a dinghy or a galleon - the choice is yours.
You can recruit crew in a number of ways. You can recruit real players to join your ship and help you plunder and pillage, or you can enlist the services of AI sailors and pirates. Novice AI recruits can be found at the Freeports, while more seasoned sailors can be rescued from destroyed 'Army of the Damned' shipwrecks to man specific positions on your boat with expertise.
