Taxation House is a Structure used in Building in MMO Game Atlas.
In order to build in Atlas, you must craft individual building tiles or structures to combine into larger structures, whether those are Ships or Forts on land.
There are 3 tiers of Structures and building materials in Atlas; the Stone tier is the third.
About the Taxation House
Taxation Houses allow Companies to levy a tax on any resources gathered within their claims.
The tax may be set by the Company from 0% to 30%. Whenever a player who is not a member of the Company harvest resources within the claim, the set percentage of resources are deposited directly into the Taxation House. For example, if the tax is set at 10% and non-affiliated player harvest 50 Stone, 5 Stone will be deposited directly into the Taxation House and only 45 would land in the player's inventory. The Taxation House can be locked and secured with a PIN code to allow access only to Company members.
How to Get Taxation House
The Taxation House can be crafted in the Smithy using the following resources:
The Taxation House must be placed onto a crafted structure large enough to support it - it cannot be placed directly onto the ground.
- Structures, like many items in Atlas, have durability ratings which can be damaged to the point of the Structure's destruction. Higher tiers of buildings can take more damage before they are destroyed, so it is wise to build out of the highest durability tier you can manage. When a Structure is destroyed, any other Structures supported by it are also destroyed, unless they have alternative support from another, intact Structure.
