Gold Coins in Atlas MMO Game are used as a currency.
Usage of Gold Coins
Gold Coins are used in Atlas for a number of functions:
- Hiring NPC Crewmembers from the Shipyardsman in Freeports (5 Gold Coins)
- 'Taming' or hiring NPC Crewmembers from wrecked Ships of the Damned (cost depends on level of NPC).
- Paying Crewmembers (1.7 Gold Coins per hour per crewmember).
- Buying cosmetic items such as Skins from the Cosmetics Vendor and Merchant Ship
- Upgrading some items
How to Get Gold Coins
Gold Coins can be gathered in the following ways:
- Digging up Treasure Chests, found using Treasure Maps, with a Shovel.
- Loot Crates in the ocean
- Loot boxes claimed from defeated Ships of the Damned.
